Oh, and Brianna just lost another tooth last Monday! Scott pulled it out with a pair of pliers, and she didn't even cry! LOL

Happy Belated Birthday, Brianna!

I just realised that I didnt ever share any pics of Brianna's 8th birthday! So, here goes! Bit late I migh add, but better late than never!! These are totally unedited! hehe

My baby bird

Well, we knew our bird had babies...I could hear them when it was feeding time and she kicked one of the babies out of the nest. But I haven't ever been able to get a good shot of them....til today, that is. Not only was I photographer today, but I was also a bird rescuer. The baby is trying to stretch his winngs and get strong enough to fly, but he fell out of the tree. Luckily Brianna was playing outside and she saw the baby, picked it up and brought him to me. Scott came home a short time later and we ended up pulling the truck under the tree and putting the ladder in the bed of the truck to get him back into the nest. The first try was no good...the parents were both freaking out and took a swoop at us, and with all that happening, the baby jumped back outta the nest. I was able to calm him down again, and then it was easier to get him to stay in the nest. While I had the truck there, I thought I'd take advantage of the awesome angle I was at and got a couple of great shots of the baby, so here he is! :) Hopefully the parents don't abandon him after all that effort we put into saving him!!

Momma Bird...

We discovered a mother bird nesting in the tree in our front yard while we were out watching Byron on his new bike. I'm surprised she's nesting where she is, b/c it's kinda low (not complaining though...makes it easier for me to take pics!!) We'll be watching for her babies, so stay tuned...I'll be out there with my camera! :)

Happy Birthday Byron!!

Byron turned 4 today! You're growing up so fast! We got him bike for his birthday and he loves it. He's having fun riding his very own bike, and he's making us laugh watching him try and figure it out. We love you, Byron! :) I'll share more photos tomorrow...

Family resemblance

I came across this picture of Natasha the other day, while Aubrey was looking at an album and was startled at the resemblance between the two of them. Aubrey looked a lot like her that day we were looking at the pics, not so much in this pic, but you can still see the resemblance. Scott saw the pic of Natasha and thought it was Aubrey!! Just wanted to share...Oh and yes, that's the same dress! :) Janine, Natasha and Myself wore the same dresses to my Dad and Stepmum's wedding 22 years ago, and now Aubrey gets to wear it! :)

New babies!!!

OK, will someone PLEASE call me with some info?! My little sister, Natasha, has given birth to twin babies and I don't know any of the details. All I know is that she had a little boy and a little girl. Natasha and Daniel, if you're reading this, CONGRATS!! I wish I could be there with you sharing in your joy! Thinking of ya! :)

It's been a while...

OK, ok, I know it's been a while since I posted so here goes. Better later than never right? Yesterday we took the kiddos up to Ogden to see the Train Museum. It was a cool museum, and it wasn't just trains. It had an old car museum, (awesome old cars, btw) a gun museum, a naturall sciences museum and the trains. The kids had a lot of fun and there were some big old trains outside that we were able to climb on. The kids especially loved the model train that was going in and out through the different rooms of the museum. I'd have liked to have gone there with out the kids sometime, just so I could read all the info they had. The kids weren't interested in waiting while we read! (I can't imagine why, though!!) OK so the kids aren't at their photogenic best in these pics. Brianna wasn't happy because she wasn't getting her way, so she was giving me attitude and Byron didn't want to stop playing to look at me for one second...no 1/125th of a second!! LOL
